Anne van Weerden (website) is a board member of the astronomy and meteorology society Galaxis and holds a bachelor’s degree in physics. As a biographer of the mathematician and astronomer Sir William Rowan Hamilton (1805–1865), she is a guest researcher at the Mathematical Institute of Utrecht University, and now retired, she volunteers to maintain the paper mathematics library.
Anne gave a lecture at Halley Observatory, see 2026-05-29 The Inflationary Universe. A very smart woman who could tell incredibly interesting stories about the inflationary universe — the mainstream theories and the known problems surrounding them. We learned an enormous amount from her!
