Galaxis – Vereniging voor weer- en sterrenkunde (“Society for Weather and Astronomy”) is the astronomy and meteorology society of ‘s-Hertogenbosch (Den Bosch) in the Netherlands. Founded back in 1934, it is affiliated with the KNVWS, the Royal Dutch Society for Weather and Astronomy. Galaxis organises lectures, courses and observation evenings about weather and astronomy in the Den Bosch region.

Its chairman, for over 35 years now, is the physicist Paul Koenraad. I first came across Galaxis through the lectures at Halley Observatory: both Anne van Weerden (on the inflationary universe) and Paul and Anne-Marie Koenraad (on the Aurora) are connected to Galaxis.
